I would like to congratulate our parents, students, staff and supervisory teams for successfully testing approximately 500 students per day and completing PARCC testing in just six days. I am excited to see how well our students performed. It is hard to believe that the end of the year is approaching so quickly. Junior States of America- Turning the Tide of American Politics
This past weekend students Rutherford's Junior States of America club (JSA) participated in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spring State Conference at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel in Wood-Bridge, New Jersey. The organization's goals are to promote civic engagement among students, as evident in the theme of the conference "Millennial Momentum: Turning the Tide of American Politics." Over 300 hundred students from New Jersey to North Carolina met to discuss a variety of socioeconomic and geopolitical elements of the American Political System. Congratulations to Morteza Mesgari Hagh
The New Jersey Relocation Scholarship has been awarded to Morteza Mesgari Hagh. The criteria required that he had moved at least 50 miles to a new school between 9th and 12th grade and has maintained a grade point average greater that a 3.0. He was required to write an essay and participate in extra-curricular activities, as well as community participation.
