The 6th Grade Pierrepont School Band hosted the guitarist from A Perfect Circle, Billy Howerdel, as a special guest speaker. Billy spoke to the students about his early life playing clarinet in his school band and about his transition to becoming a guitarist in high school. He also spoke about how he worked as a road crew assistant/guitar tech before beginning his first band, as well as writing music for movies. The students were very enthusiastic about their guest and had many questions. This was an amazing day for our musicians.
