In honor of President’s Day, Mrs. Fata’s students conducted a research project on presidents. Each student was given a president to research online and through books from the library. Students wrote a report that included all important information and multiple fun facts. To go along with the reports the students also made “wearable posters” representing their chosen president. Students used yarn and cotton balls to depict the hair of the president. The poster had a cut out for the students to put their faces and arms making it wearable. They wore the posters as they read aloud their report to Mrs. Carrion, Mr. Placenti, Mr. Siskas, Ms. Wilson, and of course their fellow classmates. All had a great time in conducting the research and presenting their projects!
