Each year, Ms. Scrimenti holds Pi Day challenges in her classroom. One of the challenges this year was to memorize Pi to the furthest digit. Both Ms. Scrimenti and Mrs. Bongiovanni’s homerooms have been working hard and practicing their Pi reciting. In the end, Michael Boylan came in first place memorizing Pi to 264 digits! Unbelieveable! Congratualations to Michael on a job well done! Another activity challenged each homeroom to put the first 52 digits of Pi in order. They were given the Pi sheets to follow; however the students had to do this activity in complete silence. Here is Mrs. Bongiovanni’s class after they were able to put the digits of Pi in order. Both classes did very well!
