Brain in Action: Exploring Reaction Time in 4th Grade Science

In 4th Grade Science, Mrs. Colucci and Barone’s class explored how the brain responds to a stimulus through a hands-on reaction time experiment. Students worked with partners to catch a falling ruler and recorded the centimeter mark where it was caught. This simple activity helped demonstrate how quickly the brain processes visual information and sends signals to the muscles to react. Fifth-Grade Mock Trial

Fifth-grade gifted and talented students spent the second marking period diving into the world of law and justice by exploring the fundamentals of the legal system. They learned about the roles of attorneys, judges, and jurors, while also studying key concepts like fairness and the importance of evidence.
