The Rutherford Gifted & Talented Program Learning Fair for Grades 4-6 took place last night, June 5th, in the Pierrepont School Gymnasium from 6-7:30pm. Well over 125 students, parents, siblings and grandparents of G&T students, as well as members of the Rutherford community, attended. Projects were displayed by grade level and subject matter. The highlights were demonstrations of gliders and projectile launchers made by students, model moon rovers, and a continuous showing of student class time projected on a screen in a viewing alcove.
Mrs. Almaliah greeted parents of current G&T students and met parents and students in Grade 3 Discovery whom she will be teaching next year. A lively time was had by all!
