Students in Mrs. Bermudez’s and Ms. Levine’s classes recently finished a unit on Genetics. Upon completion of the unit, students created an alien based on the genetic traits they got in a simulation activity. The students were able to connect their knowledge of dominant & recessive genes to discover what traits were required to draw their Alien. The students also had a debate on genetics vs. environment and both sides did a fantastic job defending their claim.
