Mrs. Tiffner’s math classes wrapped up a unit on equations and inequalities by working in stations to reinforce these concepts. In one of the stations students built their own function machines. Students created their own function and their own set of inputs and outputs. The students then proved that their function was linear by plotting the points on a coordinate plane. Our kinesthetic learners really enjoyed this activity and connected to the material in a new way. Vanessa Centurion is pictured.
