5th grade students in STEM class design a mechanical ROBO arm to lift objects that differ in material and size, from a distance of 12 inches away. Students use learned critical and problem solving skills to build, test, and improve their designs. This project is part of the Real World STEM challenges grant, funded by the Rutherford Education Foundation(REF).
