Music in Our Schools Month
"Music Inspires" is the theme of this year's Music In Our Schools Month! Every March students around the country celebrate music in our schools! Lost and Found at Pierrepont
Our lost and found is overflowing. If you have recently discovered a jacket, sweatshirt, hat, lunch bag, etc. missing, please have your child check the lost and found in the Multi Purpose Room. Parents are also welcome to come in to claim lost items. Lost and found is accessible to students and parents throughout the day. During the spring break unclaimed items will be donated to charity. Function Machines in 6th Grade Math
Mrs. Tiffner's math classes wrapped up a unit on equations and inequalities by working in stations to reinforce these concepts. In one of the stations students built their own function machines. Students created their own function and their own set of inputs and outputs. The students then proved that their function was linear by plotting the points on a coordinate plane. Medieval Times Trip
Pierrepont School sixth graders took a field trip to Medieval Times. They had a great time! Not only did they feast on the delicious food and watch an amazing show, their knight, Black and White, won the tournament!!
