Dear Parents/Guardians,   Pierrepont School is excited to kick off our Kids Heart Challenge (formerly Hoops for Heart)!  This year the students at Pierrepont will have the opportunity to help “Knock-Out” heart disease and stroke. With at least a $10 online donation students will be able to participate in a “Knock-Out” tournament and receive a special prize.  There will be a male & female champion for each grade level. Once again, Pierrepont School is pleased to participate in the reading motivational program, BOOKS AND BEYOND.  We will begin the program on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 for students in Grades 4 and 5. This year’s theme is  “EXERCISE YOUR MIND...READ!”.   The following will give you a basic introduction to the program. Mrs. Jessica Saxon has just been appointed as the Assistant Principal at Pierrepont School.  She will begin her role on February 1, 2019. Mrs. Saxon has been a teacher at Pierrepont School for the past twelve years.  While at Pierrepont, Mrs. Saxon taught eighth grade science, STEM, and Computer Applications.  Mrs. Saxon recently completed her administrative internship at Pierrepont School, so is she very familiar with the role of the Assistant Principal.  She is a welcome addition to the administrative team. … [Read more...] about New Assistant Principal at Pierrepont School

Please note that Friday, December 21st is a one session day.  All students will be dismissed at 12:20 p.m.  Subscription busing will be provided to students who take the bus.  The bus will leave Pierrepont School at 12:30 p.m. and arrive to Union School at approximately 12:40 p.m. JUST A REMINDER If you have recently discovered a jacket, sweatshirt, hat, lunch bag, etc. missing, please have your child check the lost and found in the multi purpose room.  Parents are also welcome to claim lost items after school.
