Highlighting Vocabulary
Students from Mrs. Monochello’s third grade targeted reading class will be announcing a Word of the Day to the school. Students will pick a character trait from their class word list. They will say what the word means, provide the name of a character in a book who has that trait and provide an example of the character displaying that trait. Students will be designing a t-shirt, which will have the character trait, example and the book title. These will be displayed outside Mrs. Monochello’s room. 50th Day of School
50th Day of School- November 20th Students are strongly encouraged to step back in time to 1950! Children will listen to 50s music and learn about inventions of the decade.
