Olympic Excitement at Lincoln
Winter Olympics came to Lincoln School. Physical education teacher, Tom Potor, designed a number of events for the students to participate in that related to the events in South Korea (minus the snow and ice). Mr. Potor shared the history of the Olympic symbol with all and displayed this symbol in the center of the 'ice rink.' Students had the chance to ride on a bobsled, ski jump, speed skate and slide the curling stone. The Olympic torch will also be relayed in coming classes. Soup-er Bowl
We have counted all the cans of soup donated to our Soup-er Bowl collection. New England Patriots had 90 items and the Philadelphia Eagles had 160! Good luck to both teams this Sunday.
