Class Placements and Back to School Information
It seems once August begins parents and students start to think about the upcoming year. We will mail out the August letter which contains arrival, pick-up, lunch, snack, and first day information on August 23rd. Please read the letter carefully. At the end of the letter is the name of your child's teacher. Please call the office after August 24th if you do not receive the letter and we will resend it. Summer Enrichment
Many parents ask me how they can keep their children's skills on grade level over the summer. I strongly encourage parents to have their children do some academic work 30-40 minutes a day five days a week. Parents should not have young learners complete work all at once, but break it into sections. I try to infuse skills into my son's everyday activities. June Events
This was an exciting year at Lincoln! The students planted in the woods, planted bulbs around the school, watched chicks hatch, learned about zest, fairness, bravery, creativity, forgiveness, kindness, and hope. They performed musically and displayed their artistic talents. Students paraded for Halloween and then played on Field Day. Academically, students learned to increase their reading and phonics skills, write imaginative or informational stories, and think mathematically.
