This month Lincoln School is focusing on the character trait- Respect. Respect is a way of treating or thinking about something or someone. If you respect your teacher, you admire him/her and treat him/her well. People respect others who are impressive for any reason, such as being in authority — like a teacher or police officer — or being an elder — like a grandparent. Hispanic Heritage Month Celebrated
Students at Lincoln School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in their Spanish classes this week. First graders made booklets and second and third graders engaged in guided research on notable Hispanics. ¡Viva la lengua española!

Lincoln Community
Community 201/Ms. Smith's class displayed in the halls portraits of Lincoln School Community Helpers which they drew. They said:
"Lincoln School is a special place full of kind and caring people. We are a community that takes time to be there for each other. Every person and job is important. Here are portaits of some of our members and what the students of Community 201 think they do in their workday to keep Lincoln School at its best."
