Halloween Parade Information
It’s about that time again...time for the Ghouls & Goblins to roam at Lincoln School! We have a few helpful hints to make sure that our upcoming Halloween parade is fun & safe! Make sure to return the attached permission slip regarding your lunch arrangements. Lincoln School Grades 1-3 - If possible, have children go home for lunch to change into their costumes. What a Week!
The students had quite a busy week! Our yoga instructors visited each class and taught the students some poses and breathing techniques. Students have been using the mindfulness training throughout the day. Students have even been setting an intention for the day when the morning bell rings. Parents are reminded to attended the Mindfulness Parent Training on October 24th at 7 p.m. Parent and community volunteers assisted students in placing mulch and planting flowers in the woods. Mindful Workshop for Parents
Lincoln and Washington parents are invited to a workshop about incorporating mindful moments into the day. The workshop will be held on October 24th at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln Art/ Music room. Parents will review the science behind mindfulness and will practice techniques that can be implemented immediately into family time.
