On September 11th Lincoln students thanked all of the special people in our lives who keep us safe. Teachers discussed that RPD, RFD, parents, EMT, medical staff, military personnel and school personnel, just to name a few, are all available to help when needed. Back to School Update
It has certainly been a busy summer at Lincoln School. We worked diligently on our Reopening Plan meeting with staff to plan a return for those selecting to receive instruction in person or remote. Mr. Dobko, our head custodian and his team have worked to get the building ready. We had our inspection yesterday and Mr. Dobko and his team were complimented for their efforts. Summer Enrichment
Many parents ask me how they can keep their children’s skills on grade level over the summer. I strongly encourage parents to have their children do some academic work 30-40 minutes a day five days a week. Parents should not have young learners complete work all at once, but break it into sections. I try to infuse skills into my son’s everyday activities. Special Wishes for Grade 3
The PTA arranged for a special send off for the third graders. Students were greeted by this lawn sign when they arrived today to pick up their school belongings and receive their promotion certificate. Each teacher held a virtual clap out for the third graders and students watched a Flip Grid with well wishes from the staff. Family, staff and special guests recognized each child.
