Citizens of the Month Tree is Full!
Every month, the school focuses on a positive character trait. At the end of the month, teachers are asked to name a student or students who exemplified that trait that month. Letters are sent home and an "apple" is put on the Citizens of the Month tree in the hallway representing that students. The students participated in a Character Trait Poster Contest to share what was learned this year when the featured character trait that month was discussed. Character traits explored this year were: fairness, bravery, creativity, kindness, forgiveness, hope and zest. The committee selected 3 winners: Autumn Eng (Grade 1), Michael McCaugherty (Grade 2), and Ben Nora Smith (Grade 3).
