Ms. LaSpisa’s Class Makes Baby Prediction
The boys and girls in Ms. LaSpisa’s 2nd grade class did a fun math and writing activity. They figured out if Ms. LaSpisa's "baby bump" was more or less than one meter using ribbon. In addition, students created a picture graph of their gender predictions. Twelve students predicted a girl and four students predicted a boy. Ms. DeBouter's second grade students sent thank you notes to health care workers at John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack Hospital. The letters brought smiles to the faces of many employees.
