Ms. Kessler’s first graders worked on expressing their opinions during Writer’s Workshop. After reading Hey, Little Ant, the students discussed whether the character in the book would squish the ant OR save the ant. The students supported their opinion with reasons and examples to really persuade the readers of the ant’s fate! Hopefully, the students had a positive outcome for the ant!
