As part of a writing project, Mrs. Smith’s Community 201 wrote letters with words of advice to Mrs. Smith’s class from 2011 who are current RHS juniors. Ivy Kelly was the first to receive a hand-delivered reply from Evan Gordon, a junior at RHS.
For more than a decade, Mrs. Smith’s 2011 second grade students have been writing to her during the summer months. With a new twist in mind, Mrs. Smith asked the RHS students to write back to their new second grade pals.
