Lincoln “Day of Play”
The students had a wonderful time yesterday at their Day of Plan. The Day of Play is to teach cooperation, creativity and decision-making while playing. Kazoo Parade
Gilly, the Caring Clown, came for a visit on our Day of Play! Gilly helped Ms. Monochello's second-grade class make original kazoos and led the students as they paraded the halls playing music. First Chick Hatched at Lincoln School!
The first of the dozen eggs delivered to the school last Tuesday has hatched! #11 was the first to arrive early this morning. There are cracks in the rest of the eggs, so we expect new arrivals later today to join #11. The Eggs Have Arrived!!
We have received our shipment of a dozen fertilized chicken eggs from Quiver Farm of Pennsburg, PA. courtesy of the Lincoln PTA. Farmer Aiden introduced the parents, Rooster Max and Hen Ruby, to our PreK3 class. Max and Ruby came to oversee that their eggs will be well cared for at Lincoln School. Ruby even laid an egg while visiting Lincoln!! The numbered eggs are on the office counter in a 100 degrees temperature-controlled incubator.
