A, B, C, D… D is for December!!
December is a busy month at the Kindergarten Center. The students are busy learning and having a lot of fun doing it. Throughout the day students are engaged dancing, singing, creating, and collaborating! To celebrate some of the newly introduced letters we will have letter days here at the Kindergarten Center. J is for jerseys….students will be wearing a team jersey to school on December 9th and “P” is for pajamas and polar express…a pajama day at school celebrated with a viewing of the Polar Express on December 16th. Students will be focusing on the character trait of RESPECT. This character trait was introduced at our monthly assembly. We also acknowledged our kindergarten friends with November birthdays! On November 23rd we will come together as a community to discuss the many things we are thankful for. We will also show our school pride by wearing our school spirit wear and colors for spirit day! This is an exciting time in your kindergartener’s life. They have been learning how to be a part of a learning community socially and academically and have developed a solid foundation of literacy and numeracy to build upon.
