Congratulations to Rutherford High School music students Eva Tobin, Brianna Liller, and Ellah Brown who won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize in the Bergen County PTA Reflections awards! The students submitted musical compositions written in their music theory class with teacher Mr. Michael Faugno. Their work will now go to the state level for judging. Congratulations the RHS Boys Varsity Soccer Team!
The RHS boys varsity soccer team defeated Northern Valley Demarest in the NJSIAA North East Regional championship game to become the 2020 North East Group 2-B Regional Champions. The team came back from a 0-1 deficit at the half to score 3 unanswered goals to win the championship. This victory marks the first boys' first state-level title in program history! Rutherford School District Makes AP Honor Roll
Rutherford Public Schools is one of 250 districts in the United States and Canada to be honored by the College Board with placement on its 10th Annual AP District Honor Roll. To be included, Rutherford High School’s student participation had to improve compared to 2017 levels. More students had to take Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and the percentage of them scoring 3 or higher on AP exams had to stay steady or increase.
