On March 23, 2026, the Rutherford Concert Choir sang at the esteemed Carnegie Hall under the direction of University of Kentucky Director of Choral Activities, Jefferson Johnson. For the past two months, students worked extremely hard to learn challenging repertoire and rehearsed with choirs from Kentucky and North Carolina. Rutherford High School's Finding Happiness Through Mindfulness class closed their recent unit with a visit from Hon. James J. Guida, J.S.C (Ret.) of Bergen County. The Rutherford High School Select Choir has been making the rounds performing at winter and holiday concerts. Most recently they performed at Vincent United Methodist Church in Nutley and at The Women's Club of Rutherford.
