Flexible Seating
Students in Ms. Hetzel and Mrs. Podolanczuk's 3rd grade class are thrilled to be using the new flexible seating that is part of their classroom this year! Thanks to a grant from the Rutherford Education Foundation, students are enjoying newly shaped tables, bean bag chairs, a variety of wobble stools, standing areas and pillows to make their learning experience more enjoyable and productive. Team Building/Problem Solving with Ms. Kupryk
This week, the students participated in a team building/problem solving activity. They were tasked to save Sam, the worm, by placing him inside a “life preserver” and back inside his “boat” that capsized. The trick was that they couldn’t touch any of the materials with their hands! They could only use the paperclips I provided.
