Sixth-grade students turned science into an adventure by designing their own amusement parks inspired by the planets in the solar system. Using AI technology, students created imaginative rides that reflected the unique features of each planet.
In past years, students had to draw their ideas, but this year AI allowed them to bring their creative visions to life with stunning detail—no artistic experience required. In addition to designing their rides, students calculated each planet’s distance from the sun in astronomical units (AU), gaining a true sense of the vastness of the solar system.
This hands-on project gave students a meaningful way to connect math and science concepts with their own creativity and innovation.
