On Friday, October 31, students will be permitted to come to school in their costumes all day. There will be no need for students to change into their costumes at lunch time. We will also sponsor a costume contest recognizing the most original, funniest, and scariest costumes. The Pierrepont PTA is generously sponsoring prizes for the contest winners.
In the interest of safety, please be sure to design your child’s costume so that it will allow him or her to move safely throughout the building and to engage in instruction throughout the day. We ask that children do not wear masks or hats that obscure their vision. Toy guns, swords, and sharp or pointed objects are not to be brought to school.
There will not be a Halloween parade. Class parties will take place on Friday, October 31st. Happy Halloween!
