Students in Mrs. Bongiovanni’s fifth-grade social studies classes have actively engaged in discussions about the formation of the United States Constitution as part of their civics unit. Students researched various court cases that have led to change and growth within our country. They made thoughtful analyses of the effects of these cases during the times they occurred and how they might be interpreted today. With America’s 250th anniversary approaching, students continue to reflect on landmark decisions that have helped shape our country today.
