This November, we kicked off our Bulldog Buddy Program here at Pierrepont School. The Bulldog Buddy Program is a leadership opportunity designed for 6th-grade students who demonstrate respect, responsibility, and self-awareness. Students who are selected will serve as positive role models by visiting a 5th or 4th-grade classroom to read books that focus on social-emotional learning, character education, and our Profile of a Rutherford Graduate pillars.
Through these shared reading experiences, Bulldog Buddies help reinforce the values of our PBSIS program while fostering connections across grade levels. This program not only builds literacy and leadership skills but also strengthens our school community by encouraging kindness, empathy, and positive character.
