As their reward for filling their Smiley Jar, Ms. Jarrett’s classes earned a game day last week. The games could only be board games and the students provided a various assortment. It was a nice reward after rigorous preparation and great focus on their state test. Students practiced interpersonal skills, turn taking, eye contact, following directions, strategy and teamwork while unwinding through good old fashioned play.
