If your children are anything like mine, you are hoping your children treat their teachers better than they do their home school teacher! I often find myself saying, " I know you wouldn't say that to your teacher" or "You think you are going to hand that in looking like that." I can assure you from the teacher perspective children often behave better for someone else than they do their parents. This month Lincoln School is focusing on the hard character trait- LOVE. Love is a variety of feelings, attitudes and emotions. The dictionary lists love as a noun and a verb. It is a strong feeling of affection for another person -- such as you love your parents, grandparents, brother or sister, an intense emotional attachment to something,-- such as your pet or a treasured object, or a need or requirement for life --such as plants love the sun.
