As you know, the weather this winter has been challenging and the students missed some music classes.  In order to showcase our students' musical talents properly, we have moved the third grade concert.  The concert will now be April 3, 2014 at 9 a.m. with doors opening at 8:50 a.m.    We hope the snow will be melted by then so parking is a little easier as well.   We know some parents/ grandparents may need to rearrange schedules to come to this new date and we thank you for understanding.  We just want the students to feel confident in their show!  Hope to see you on April 3rd  in spring … [Read more...] about Third Grade Concert Date Change

Dear Parents and Guardians, Last year, we followed the journey of a china rabbit, Edward Tulane, as he learned to love others more than himself.  This year we will learn about the world through the eyes of Humphrey, a lovable hamster whose adventures in the classroom and on weekend visits, give him a unique point of view on school and families. Reminder that the PTA Valentine's Day Party is this Friday as well.   In order to teach children to recognize that others may not be as fortunate, we are collecting items for the Rutherford Food Pantry.   Children may bring an item to the Valentine's Party or bring an item to school the following week. I have learned my lesson during the storm and now have all the information I need to update the website at home!   I know you probably had many conversations about Pajama Day!   I have to keep reminding myself that life must be pretty good if this was my biggest worry today.
