The PTA will once again this year organize a collection of new blankets, mittens, hats, scarves, and gloves to be donated to a food pantry from December 4-18th. Items will be placed on our tree located in the main foyer of the school. Students enjoy bringing their donations and placing them on the tree. Second Grade Joins in November Voting
The second graders completed a thematic unit on the election and voting process used in our country. Students researched a cause, wrote persuasive letters, presented their platform, and then voted on the choices presented. Students created the voting booths and then cast their vote.
