Character Traits
Each month students will be exposed to one character trait, which will be defined, modeled and its application analyzed in books, history, science and current events, and in students’ ability to apply the trait. This school year Lincoln is focusing on the hard character traits:respect, citizenship, wisdom, kindness, love, self-control and appreciation of beauty. Welcome back to an exciting 2019-2020 school year! School opens for all students on Thursday, September 5th. Road Trippin’
Students trekked across the United States to explore our nation’s national parks. In reading class students compared and contrasted different national parks. They created souvenirs for each park they visited. They made t-shirts, keychains, mugs, pennants, and stuffed animals. This week in math, students successfully planned road trips to the Jersey Shore, New York City, Canada, and Philadelphia! Together, they worked to determine their pit stops along the way, and the duration of each road trip.
