Scooter Booter Time
Lincoln School students enjoyed a fun and active game of Scooter Booter in Phys Ed this past week. Using the Omnikin ball, which was purchased with a previous REF Grant by Phys Ed Teacher, Tom Potor, students were assembled into 4 different teams and rode the scooters all over the gym. Using speed and agility on the scooters, students attempted to kick or push the Omnikin ball past any of the other teams’ goalies. Ms. LaSpisa’s Class Makes Baby Prediction
The boys and girls in Ms. LaSpisa’s 2nd grade class did a fun math and writing activity. They figured out if Ms. LaSpisa's "baby bump" was more or less than one meter using ribbon. In addition, students created a picture graph of their gender predictions. Twelve students predicted a girl and four students predicted a boy.
