Lincoln held its annual Field Day!  Students in grades 1-3 went to Memorial Field and danced with friends, completed stations and gathered for pizza and ice pops. Karen Orloff, author of I Wanna Iguana, visited Lincoln School on April 6. Mrs. Orloff read several of her stories to the students, as well as explained how an author created a book and it gets published.  Ms. Orloff surprised many students when she said she had never met the illustrators of her books, and that she has very little input on the illustrations.  Third grade classes participated in an activity to develop ideas for stories.
