Lincoln School on NJ Spotlight
We are excited to share NJEA Spotlight visited Lincoln in November to learn about our Mindfulness program. The staff has been committed to this program for many years now in an effort to increase academic time. Students that are in control of their emotions, focused, and have a positive outlook do better in school. Here is a little glimpse into our character development and mindfulness program. Thank you to the staff who believed in this initiative and infused the principles into daily instruction.

Sharing Informational Reading
Mrs. Mayfield’s third grade class read their informational chapter books to the Prek 4 students! Some topics included dogs, cats, soccer and pianos. Rainbow Bridge Challenge
Ms. Oddo's class was challenged to create a rainbow bridge that would be strong enough to protect the leprechaun's pot of gold! They used their STEM skills to learn about bridge structures and create their own bridge. Then, they tested the strength of the bridge by adding "gold" to the pot to see which structure held the most!
