The Kindergarten Center's Halloween Parade will be held on Friday, October 30 at 2:10 PM weather permitting.  In the event of bad weather a Connect 5 will be sent home and the parade will be held indoors and unfortunately parents will not be permitted.  Please review the following information: Costumes may NOT be worn to school in the morning. Children may go home for lunch if the permission slip has been returned.  Lunch is 12:00-1:00 PM and will be dismissed out their dismissal doors. Students in Mrs. Parkinson's class enjoyed a fun fall activity that connected literacy and math!  After reading Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn, they went on a leaf walk and brought their leaves inside to sort, count, and compare groups.  Students practiced using math vocabulary such as more, fewer, and equal as they compared the number of leaves.  They finished by creating their own leaves and playing a math game with a partner.  A fun way to bring fall into their learning!   … [Read more...] about Fall Math Game
