The Great Kindness Challenge
Mrs. Rim’s Gingerbread Adventure
As part of the Winter Traditions Unit, Mrs. Rim's class enjoyed making gingerbread boys and girls to send to kindergarteners around the country. Over the last few weeks, a new set of gingerbread boys and girls have been arriving at the Kindergarten Center with letters from all over the country. Treat Everyone with Kindness
Students at the Kindergarten Center learned about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his dedication towards equality for all people regardless of race, class, and gender. The power of his words helped to inspire some of our own students to identify their own dreams for our world. To further promote a culture of KINDNESS within the Kindergarten Center, students will take part in the Great Kindness Challenge starting Monday, January 23. Each day of the Great Kindness Challenge we will have special events and we encourage everyone to participate.
