Throughout the month, students have been working on the goals they have set for themselves, identified positive ways to impact the world through learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, engaged in activities and lessons around Chinese New Year, started visits to the Rutherford Public Library and were challenged to go above and beyond with acts of kindness, participating in the nationwide Great Kindness Challenge! What a great start to 2023!

Mrs. Rim’s Gingerbread Adventure
As part of the Winter Traditions Unit, Mrs. Rim's class enjoyed making gingerbread boys and girls to send to kindergarteners around the country. Treat Everyone with Kindness
Students at the Kindergarten Center learned about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his dedication towards equality for all people regardless of race, class, and gender. The power of his words helped to inspire some of our own students to identify their own dreams for our world. To further promote a culture of KINDNESS within the Kindergarten Center, students will take part in the Great Kindness Challenge starting Monday, January 23.
