The Meadowlands Environment Center (MEC) zoomed into the Kindergarten Center on Tuesday, April 27th, to present Trash to Treasure: Environmental Explorers Make Compost! Mr. Kirk shared a story of a child learning about composting for the first time followed by opportunities to explore decomposing organic matter (leaves), observe live pillbugs and create seedling pots from recycled newspapers. This exciting collaboration with the MEC was brought to our students by the Kindergarten Center PTA!

Spring Break Travel Guidelines
Travel outside of the states of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Delaware requires a quarantine period for those not fully vaccinated. If you have not yet informed your child’s school of your long-distance travel plans, it is imperative that you do so immediately. This information is needed for us to appropriately determine necessary quarantine periods in order to provide for safe learning environments in each of our buildings.
