In 2005, the New Jersey Legislature enacted the education law (N.J.S.A. 18A:7A‐10) that established requirements to ensure that school districts are providing a thorough and efficient education for all students. The New Jersey Department of Education created regulations to implement the law. The New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum (QSAC) is the monitoring process that has been established.
