Superintendent Hurley will present a “State of the District’’ address, reviewing the accomplishments and successes of the students, faculty, and staff in the first half of the academic year. Mr. Hurley will be available in the High School cafeteria from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Stop by for a few minutes or stay the entire hour to say hello, ask a question, share a concern, or provide feedback on any school related topic. Water Test Results
The District’s water was tested by Garden State Environmental (GSE) on May 11 and May 13. The results indicate that all samples were below applicable standards and recommendations. The test results state that 63% of all of the school taps had no detectable traces of lead. In the 37% where there was a detectable particle, the measurements fell well below allowable levels. Mr. Paterno, the District's Director of Building and Grounds, and I met with Mr. Bruce Wolf, the Senior Vice President of GSE to review the results.
