Students in Mrs. Mac-Doty's Pop Culture elective visited with first grade students at Washington School to share original stories and poems. After studying the 1970s and the impact author Shel Silverstein had on the decade, students created poems and illustrations to emulate his style. Ms. Augusterfer designed an enrichment lesson to stretch the creative minds of the first graders. Students created an 'spicycle' for spiders. New Assistant Principal at Pierrepont School
Mrs. Jessica Saxon has just been appointed as the Assistant Principal at Pierrepont School. She will begin her role on February 1, 2019. Mrs. Saxon has been a teacher at Pierrepont School for the past twelve years. While at Pierrepont, Mrs. Saxon taught eighth grade science, STEM, and Computer Applications. Mrs. Saxon recently completed her administrative internship at Pierrepont School, so is she very familiar with the role of the Assistant Principal.
