At the October 19 meeting, the Board of Education unanimously approved the reorganization of schools. Beginning with the 2016-2017 academic year, Pierrepont School will be an Upper Elementary School for grades 4-6 and Union School will be a Middle School for grades 7-8. I thank the Board, the administrators, supervisors, faculty, staff and the community for all of their work, interest, suggestions, and support during the fifteen months that this proposal has been under review.
