The students at Washington School learned about celebrations around the world. This week Mrs. Cormack’s Spanish classes talked about the Mexican celebration of Las Posadas. First graders made a necklace that retells the story of Las Posadas, second graders made a Spanish mini-reader and third graders made a flip book identifying key parts of the celebration. In the photos, children from Ms. Catalano’s and Ms. Kupryk’s classes cheerfully demonstrate their work.
