Halloween Parade Update
Our Halloween Parade is scheduled for tomorrow, October 31 at 1:30 p.m.
Students should be dressed in their *costume when they arrive for school. At the conclusion of the parade, classes will gather in designated areas for a brief photo-op.
The students will participate in a classroom activity following the parade. Please do not send in treat bags. No candy will be distributed.
With the impending weather prediction, we may be forced to change our plans. In the event of rain, we have decided to forego the parade if it can not be held outdoors. If this becomes the case, activities for students only will take place indoors in the afternoon. We appreciate your understanding.
A decision will be made tomorrow morning. You will receive a Connect5 message by 10:00 a.m.
We all look forward to safe celebrations. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation!
*Remember, toy weapons of any kind are prohibited. Avoid excessively scary costumes, as they may frighten our younger students. Our Halloween celebration should be free of “blood, guts and gore”. For safety, please check the length of your child’s costume. Only masks that provide for adequate vision and are appropriate in nature will be permitted. If your child’s costume is deemed inappropriate, the child may be asked to take the offensive part of their costume off and/or may be prohibited from participating in our event. No adult will be permitted to wear a mask.
