At Washington School, we brought our community together and celebrated the spirit of Thanksgiving with our annual student-centered parade/assembly. Each class designed a creative float, which students proudly presented during the parade while parents and families enjoyed as spectators. Following the parade we gathered for an assembly where each class performed a song, a student recited the history of Thanksgiving, and the audience was treated with lighthearted Thanksgiving jokes. The event concluded with everyone (staff included) singing the school song, showcasing our unity and school pride. This joyful celebration highlighted the creativity, collaboration, and enthusiasm of our students while fostering a sense of community and gratitude among all.
