Recently, students in Ms. Hetzel and Mrs. Podolanczuk’s 3rd grade class had an exciting time creating “Snow Math” using the knowledge they acquired with a beginning unit on Multiplication. After choosing a multiplication sentence to “illustrate”, students then used cotton balls to create the factors and arranged them in arrays on a winter mitten that was posted on a Bulletin Board outside their classroom.
