Scooterville is here! One of the most popular events at Washington School, Scooterville was conceived by Physical Education teacher, Mr. John Randazzo, to teach our students about traffic and pedestrian safety. In addition to “learning the rules of the road”, the students also have the opportunity to play scooter soccer, scooter volleyball, scooter basketball and take part in scooter races. This year, they will also have the opportunity to visit the new Scooterville Library complete with books focused on Trustworthiness, our Pillar of Character for the month of April. In addition, the student will visit a personal hygiene station created by our school nurse, Ms. Lynn McShane.
