On Wednesday, Ms. Catalano’s grade one class went out to the Washington School Environmental Garden to create up-cycled planters. They used empty water bottles, topsoil, and seeds to plant various flowers. They received their own gardening gloves and a gardening shovel! Afterward, they cleaned up the garden. Ms. Catalano’s class cannot wait to spend more time in our beautiful garden.
